Respite or Occasional Care

Respite or Occasional Care

It may be that you need a live in carer for a short while to fill in for a family member or a carer who needs a break. It is often the client’s preference to have a carer for a short period rather than spend that time in a residential home. Such assignments can be one-off or a regular arrangement.

We have been asked to provide temporary live-in carer for support through a period of recuperation or convalescence, for example a few weeks after returning from hospital. Our capable and friendly carers can support where needed until there is a return to normal day to day living.

Or you might want a carer to be available when family members cannot be there. We have had a number of clients where the children stay with their parent for a few days or weeks of the month and the carer fills in when they are not there.
